Terms & Conditions

Prices
Prices are quoted inclusive & exclusive of VAT. All prices quoted are subject to currency, duty & market fluctuations and are quoted subject to availability.

 

Orders
A case is 12 standard bottles of wine or their equivalent (9 litres). Cases may be mixed. All orders will be delivered.

 

Delivery is free to the following postcodes for orders of at least one full case: EX1 to EX11: EX15 to 18 : TQ1 to TQ6 : TQ9 to TQ14.

 

Orders of less than one full case delivered to the following postcodes will attract a surcharge of £5.00 ex vat: EX1 to EX11: EX15 to 18 : TQ1 to TQ6 : TQ9 to TQ14.

 

Nationwide, next working day Mail Order is available. The cost of this service (UK Mainland) is currently £8.95 ex vat for the first case and £3.95 ex vat for each subsequent case to the same address.

We will not sell or deliver alcohol to anyone who is, or appears to be, under the age of 18. We reserve the right not to accept any order.

 

Payment
Credit Terms, granted subject to status reports, are for payment in full within 30 days from date of invoice. We reserve the right to withdraw credit facilities on overdue accounts and charge interest daily at the rate of 1.5% per month on outstanding amounts. For all non-account customers, payment is strictly cash with order either by Credit Card, Cheque or Cash. Credit Cards may not be used to settle credit accounts.

 

Risk & Title to Goods
The goods shall remain the property of the seller until the goods have been paid for in full and all other sums including any balances existing settled in full. Although the goods remain the seller’s property until paid for, the risk in such goods shall pass to the buyer upon delivery. The buyer shall insure the goods against loss or damage and keep them separate. The customer shall be entitled to resell or use the goods in the ordinary course of business, but shall account to the supplier for the proceeds of the sale until payment is made in full.

 

Insolvency
The buyer’s right to possession of the goods shall cease if the buyer is declared bankrupt or makes any voluntary arrangement with his creditors or goes into liquidation or an encumbrancer takes possession or a receiver is appointed in respect of the buyer’s business or the customer ceases to carry on business or Andrew Tarry T/A execellars reasonably considers that any of the above are about to happen.

 

Claims
All goods should be examined at the time of delivery. Please notify us of any loss or damage within 24 hours of delivery. Damaged bottles and packaging should be kept for inspection please.

 

Data Protection Act
We are required to inform you that we may have recorded your name, address & email address on our computer database for the sole purpose of sending you our catalogue and other information. Your name & address will not be given to third parties. Please let us know if you object to us keeping this information.
